OUR STORY
Entropic Genetics was founded by myself, Bill Murray, in 2022 as the culmination of years of work. I began breeding as an attempt to preserve genetics I'd phenohunted or acquired over the years but, quickly found a passion and an aptitude for the work.

In the fall of 2019, I found a male Peanut Butter Breath plant that was hunted from a single pack. An average sized plant, its branches stood stout and vertical with dense, prolific flowers from top to bottom and leaves reminiscent of its OGKB grandparent. It had all the makings of standout male but, until its progeny were tested there would be no way of knowing its breeding potential.

Unfortunately that would have to wait. In the spring of 2021 I lost my house to fire. Deemed a total loss, the only three rooms to survive unscathed were the ones I'd built for breeding in the basement. All of the genetics survived but my breeding grounds were gone. By the following morning, friends with our local cannabis community had gathered a number of fellow growers together to provide temporary housing for all of my genetics. Two of my closest friendships began with complete strangers that day.

Rather than resign myself to a two-year hiatus from work I'd learned to love, I doubled down on my investment and efforts. After purchasing a shipping container affectionately dubbed "The Unit" I spent the next three months building it out to be used exclusively for breeding. In August that year I was able to reinitiate my work and begin testing progeny of the Peanut Butter Breath male I'd hunted two years previously. Thus far its proved to be an outstanding breeder that consistently improves structure and vigor while enabling the hallmark characteristics of mother plants to truly shine.
